Notice the example of Jesus, who offered himself as a sin-offering sacrifice to God - Yehovah for us.
Ephesians 5:2: ...walk in love, as the Messiah also has loved us, and has given himself for us an offering and a sin-offering sacrifice to God - Yehovah, for a sweet-smelling savour.
When we sacrifice time, energy, money, help, etc., to our brothers and sisters and neighbors, that is well pleasing in the sight of God - Yehovah with whom we have to do.
Philippians 4:18: But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God - Yehovah.
In this case, the sacrifice was to help Paul in his ministry, and as we help anyone who ministers in the name of the lord Messiah Jesus-Yehoshua - Yehoshua such a sacrifice is well pleasing to our God and Father Yehovah.
Hebrews 13:15: By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God - Yehovah continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name [Yehovah].
This, of course, we can do daily, and it is our way of telling our God and Father Yehovah how much we appreciate all that He has done for us, for all the long-suffering, patient, forgiving way he deals with us all the time. How much we appreciate His amazing grace towards us who deserve nothing, for there is nothing in our hands that we can bring that can earn us anything with God. It's all in the lord Messiah Jesus-Yehoshua that God can reconcile and give so generously to those who are in him.May we all realize the joy experienced in knowing all our sins have been put aside, that we have been pronounced not guilty before the throne of God - Yehovah and that we have been raised up with the lord Messiah Jesus- Yehoshua so that when God looks on Jesus at His right hand He sees us in him, and when He looks down on us from above He sees His beloved son in us. If that doesn't move us to praise Him continually, offering up the sacrifices of praise, nothing will. Halal Yah - Praise YHVH - Yahovah, Amen.
