We know in Genesis the first man is referred to as Adam. Hebrew is a word-picture language so let’s see what word-picture we can see in the Hebrew word Adam. The first letter in Adam is referred to as ‘aleph’. This is equivalent to the English letter ‘a’. The word-picture associated with this letter is an ox head, so one meaning that ‘aleph’ can convey is “strength, leader, or first.”
The next two letters of
Adam are referred to as ‘dalet’ and ‘meme’. The ‘dalet’ pictures a door or
path. The ‘meme’ word-picture is water. One possible meaning of just these two
letters could be interpreted as “the path of water.” Guess what Hebrew word
these two letters spell? The letters ‘dalet, meme’ spell the Hebrew word for
blood. What carries water and oxygen through our bodies? Blood! The name
‘aleph, dalet, meme’ – Adam can be seen as the word-picture, “first blood.”
Adam was the “first man” created. Also, you may not know that the English word
translated as ground in Hebrew is referred to as ‘adamah.’ This is the feminine
form of the word Adam. What did the Creator form Adam from? the ‘Adamah’ or
ground? From the feminine ground ‘adamah’ God formed the first man Adam.
Now what we can
understand from all of this is that Adam ‘aleph, dalet, meme’ is the ‘first
blood’ the first man specially created by the Creator, Elohim – God. Now we go
to the New Testament and see what Paul wrote about the lord Messiah Jesus.
1 Corinthians 15:45-49: So also, it is written, the first man Adam
became a living being. The last Adam became a
life-giving spirit. Howbeit that is not first which is spiritual, but that
which is natural; then that which is spiritual. The first man is of
the earth, earthy: the second man is of heaven [specially created by
Yehovah – God in the womb of Mary]. As is the earthy, such are they also that
are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are
heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also
bear the image of the heavenly [appear as Jesus is now
as a glorified, immortal man seated at the right hand of Yehovah – God].
We observe two things that refer to the lord Jesus:
1. He is called the last Adam: Why? Because he succeeded where the first
Adam failed to live up to why Elohim – God created man. When Jesus said “it is
finished” he because the only perfect man who had lived his entire life totally
committed to loving his God and Father Yehovah with all his heart, mind, being and
strength. In loving Yehovah in that way he carried out whatever Yehovah gave
him to do completely. As a result, Yehovah raised him up to be seated at His
right hand and made him to be lord over all his creation with only Himself
excluded and Messiah! [Jesus as the Messiah - King of Israel is our King, as we by Yehovah grace have be grafted into the commonwealth of Israel]. We now understand why Jesus is referred to as the last
Adam because there is no need for another specially created man; as he
accomplished all that his God and Father created him to fulfill. Notice what Jesus
says to Peter:
Matthew 26:52-54: Then said Jesus unto him, put up again you
sword into its place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the
sword. Or do you think that I cannot beseech my Father, and He
shall even now send me more than twelve legions of angels? How then should
the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be? [This statement by the lord Jesus shows that he was totally committed to his God and Father Yehovah]
Indeed, Jesus accomplished all the Yehovah specially created himi for, to
reconcile humanity to Himself and become a sin-offering sacrifice enabling Him
to forgive our trespasses and sins and enable us to become members of the New Humanity as new creations in His uniquely begotten son Jesus.
He is referred to as the second man: The second man – Adam was created to accomplish what the first man – Adam did not!
Do we realize all that the lord Messiah Jesus has done for all humanity and for us who are now new creations because of him, and members of the new humanity Yehovah has been creating since the first Adam did not fully commit himself to loving God with all his heart, mind, being and strength. We owe our all to what our God and Father Yehovah has done through His son for us! Hallel-u-Yah – Praise Yehovah!Note: As members of the New
Humanity we will enter the New Age that will take place after the White Throne Judgement. We will enter a whole new order of things. A new earth and a new
heaven. The only ones who will enter the new age will be glorified, immortal men and women. Yehovah will come down from the heavenlies and take His place on
this ear at Zion, where He placed his name, with His son the lord by His side:
Revelation 21:1-27:
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth are passed away; and the sea is no more. And I saw the holy city Jerusalem coming down new out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of the throne saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He shall dwell with them, and they shall be His peoples, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God: and He shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more; neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more: the first things are passed away.
And He that sits on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said, write: for these words are faithful and true. And He said unto me, They are come to pass. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcomes shall inherit these things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
But for the fearful, and
unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and
idolaters, and all liars, their part shall be in the lake that
burns with fire and brimstone; which is the second death.
And there came one of the seven
angels who had [past tense] the seven bowls, who were laden with the seven last plagues; and
he spake with me, saying: Come close, I will show you the bride,
the wife of the Lamb. And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain
great and high, and showed me the holy city Jerusalem, coming down out of
heaven from God, having the glory of God: her light was like unto a
stone most precious, as it were a jasper stone, clear as
crystal: having a wall great and high; having twelve gates, and at
the gates twelve angels; and names written thereon, which are the
names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: on the east
were three gates; and on the north three gates; and on the south
three gates; and on the west three gates. And the wall of the
city had twelve foundations, and on them twelve names of the twelve apostles of
the Lamb.
And he that spake with me had for a
measure a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the
wall thereof. And the city lies
foursquare, and the length thereof is as great as the breadth: and he measured
the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs: the length and the breadth
and the height thereof are equal. And he measured the wall thereof, a
hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of
a man, that is, of an angel.
And the building of the wall
thereof was jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto pure glass. The
foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all manner of precious
stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third,
chalcedony; the fourth, emerald; the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius;
the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth,
chrysoprase; the eleventh, jacinth; the twelfth, amethyst. And the
twelve gates were twelve pearls; each one of the several gates was of
one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent
glass.
And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord - Yehovah God the
Almighty, and the Lamb, are the temple thereof. And the city has no need of
the sun, neither of the moon, to shine upon it: for the glory of God did
lighten it, and the lamp thereof is the Lamb.
And the nations shall walk amidst the light thereof: and the kings of the earth bring their glory into it. And the gates thereof shall in no wise be shut by day (for there shall be no night there): and they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it:
And there shall in no wise enter into it anything unclean, or he that makes an abomination and a lie: but only they that are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Revelation 22:1-7
We as members of the New Humanity are going to experience all these things and so much more. The new earth and new heavens will be glorious as more than what we have never experienced in our lives or could even imagine.
All is ours if we hold fast during the terrible times that are ahead of us during these last days. Our God and Father Yehovah never ever asks us to do anything that He does not give to us the enabling power of His spirit to accomplish what He asks of us. He has spoken His words to us, and they will never ever return to Him without accomplishing what He has spoken.
May we all become more like our elder brother the Messiah Jesus and
strive to bring glory to our God and Father Yehovah!
